Hate
You know what I hate?  People are incessantly rude for no purpose at all.  Now I must go and I'll come back on to rant later.  Yes.  Hate.

New site

Ok, well since I was a little frustrated with mindsay's format that doesn't allow a banner on this page, I switched to blogger for a bit.  But just a word of warning, it's kinda like the attack of Activist Emily so most likely the only thing that is going to be on that site is my rantings about how Darfur and Kashmir need help and attention from all of us, which isn't necessarily bad, at all, but for those who are looking for a long entry on how Target enslaves me every day, stay here.

My new blog: www.unspokencoiler.blogspot.com

enjoy!

One Year....
Wow it's sure been a while for this site, and now I have a myspace too.... But anyway, I just thought I'd post this because it's been on my mind all day-

One year ago tomorrow....
Photo

People stand at the gymnasium in school N.1 in Beslan looking at the portraits of children killed during the school siege a year ago, Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2005. Russia will mark the first anniversary of the Beslan tragedy, in which some 330 victims, more than half of them children, were killed. The masked, heavily-armed militants seized about 1,200 hostages who had come to a school in the small southern town to celebrate Knowledge Day, the first day of school.

Nothing really much to update about- summer is really a time of doing nothing much save for sitting around and just enjoying the fact that you don't have to cram for a test or slap together some project.  All I've really done is hung out with friends, sat around, and played tennis.  Woo hoo.  Well next week should be more productive- I'm going up to the cabin for a week, which should be interesting...I think I might just go crazy up there in Park Rapids.  Just watching those expensive cars go up and down mainstreet is about the main entertainment.  Then it's less than a month till I go to Kentucky!

I swear I'm completely blind.  In all the weeks since the end of Alias, I didn't even realize that it was coming back in September.  GREATEST NEWS EVER!

New Time for all those who care: Thursdays @ 8/7c on ABC starting in September.  Yay.

Funiful

Funiful, definition: full of fun.  Example at the moment: school.  Now that school is finally winding down, it's actually become quite fun.  I don't really do anything in my classes, and just get to socialize for 6 hours a day- pretty good deal if you ask me.  And track's over now, so despite the fact that it was actually really fun, and I can't wait until next year, I now get to go home and do what I think about all day- sleep.  Actually yesterday I fell asleep for a few hours and woke up at 6:15 and freaked out, thinking I'd be late for school and was about halfway down the hall to the bathroom to shower, when I realized it was light outside and I was wearing my clothes from the day.  (haha)  Also yesterday, I had the wonderful experience of running square into a wall, how fun!  I was hurrying upstairs with a can of soda in my hand, when I smacked into the wall near the hallway, and the can smashed against the wall and fell on the floor, and of course it had to be just about full, and started basically pouring out onto the wooden floor.  Just as this is happening, I hear the garage door opening, and realized my mom was coming home, so I screamed for my sister to help and ran and threw a whole roll of paper towels on the giant mess, and my sister ran over to the door and locked it so my mom couldn't get in, so we started cleaning it up as my mom is pounding on the door and we're running out of paper towels.  (haha)  It was funny later, after my mom had helped us clean it all up and everything.  Well anyway- I have a piano recital on Sunday, and it's going to be a giant disaster, considering I don't know either of my songs, but oh well, it'll work...somehow...hopefully...  Later all.

Star wars day

Today has been the most entertaining day of high school so far, at least for me.  Today was "Star Wars" day for our little School spirit week, and it was just hilarious.  There were some people who really went all out and wore robes and ran around with lightsabers and stuff, and even had these staged fights in between classes!  And there were other people wearing these shirts that had the movie pictures on it, and others that actually went to the midnight showing last night.  haha.  Besides that, I have a track meet in about two hours from now, and I have to finish writing poetry. *GAG*  Laters all.

Rainy Day

Ahh, rainy days, aren't they just the best days?  Except of course when your mom has a garage sale, then its not so good, but ah it doesn't matter.  Well nothing much to say save for I actually got around to seeing "House of Flying Daggers" and I really liked it.  Sad ending tho. :(  But still really good!  Then my sister and I watched the cartoon version of the Lord of the Rings from like the seventies and it was HILARIOUS.  The crackling music...the absurd drawings... the out of orderness of it all, it just makes it insane= funny.  Well I'm off to check on teh sale. Later all.

Crazy TV

I do say, I do love that show.  It's quite hilarious with all it's messed up people living on the SAME street.  haha.  Well I just thought I'd share, and one my favorite monologues of our favorite suicidal ghostly housewive, Miss Mary Alice-

MAVO: "Yes, life is a journey. One that is much better traveled with a companion by your side. Of course that companion can be just about anyone. A neighbor on the other side of the street. Or the man on the other side of the bed. The companion can be a mother with good intentions. Or a child that's up to no good. Still, despite our best intentions, some of us will lose our companions along the way, and then the journey becomes unbearable. You see, human beings are designed for many things. But loneliness isn't one of them. "

At School

Well I'm back at school from the long weekend- i was at this camp down in this state park, where i taught little kids.  It was really fun, except for the fact that yesterday on the way back up, I ran out of money for coffee, and had to settle for a cappicino at Caribou. I like cappicinos so it was ok, a nice change from the fact that I only ever ever buy white chocolate mochas.  But I thought that the cappicino was french vanilla, but it was plain.  And gross.  And plain.  And did I mention gross?  It made me very angry, but it was really the only thing that went bad this weekend. Well I suppose I should go and do some math homework, seeing as I can see the librarian looking at me.  The End.
